Why Seth Rogen Is Canada's Complete Comedic Actor

Comedy offers possibilities. Seth Rogen should play a role in Mission Impossible. He could spend some extra time in the gym with Tom Cruise's personal training help.

Canada's complete comedic actor puts the “Can” in Canada. You thought I was going to say trash or recycle bin maybe, didn't you? My advice is to light up your cigars because this thing called life is hard sometimes.

You see comedians light up the world in dark times. We need more laughter and less tears. That's why I'm blogging about comedy today.

Seth Rogen is one of my favorite comedians. You could argue that he is one of the best in showbiz. He just does a good job imitating Drake- that's all.

I'll never forget his joke about Facebook in Funny People. He gave Jonah Hill a comedy lesson. Plus, Adam Sandler got a few pointers (or should I say Pokes) from Seth.

I highly recommend watching Pineapple Express. Who else can't wait to see Seth and James Franco star in Pineapple Express 2? For one, Rogen and Franco go together like beans and cornbread. Who remembers Green Latern? Have you seen the controversial Interview movie?

I like Seth Rogen because he regulates the comedy world. Seth understands how to Dougie. He can teach you how to do it too.

While I'm on the topic of dancing, check out his Lip Sync Battle with Jimmy Fallon? It's on YouTube right now. You'll also enjoy his appearance on the Ellen Show.

In many ways, his comedy comes on you unexpectedly. He never forces his material. The laid back celebrity keeps a low profile and does what is needed.

Are you waiting for Neighbors 2 DVD to hit store shelves? Was Sausage Party funny? I feel Seth Rogen hasn't maximized his true potential yet. Could you imagine a Seth Rogen and Zach Galifianakiscollaboration? They could make a rap song to satisfy fans. With 4.5 million Twitter followers, that's a whole lot of potential greatness.

Who Do You Choose? James Corden Vs. Seth Meyers

Who do you watch late at night? After Jimmy Fallon, Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert, James Corden and Seth Meyers comes on.  How can you watch both at the same time?  Who do you choose? It depends on what you want.
Go with James Corden for pure entertainment. He offers the full package. However, if you want some spin with your ride, Seth is the one.  Do I sound like a car salesman? That’s the point.

Picture buying a brand new set of wheels off my dealership...The James Corden or the Seth Meyers. They both provide premium entertainment at an affordable cost.

I remember the very first Corden's Carpool Karaoke. Stevie Wonder was behind the steering wheel getting ready to drive. I've always been wonderful and from then on I became a James Corden fan.

The comedic actor’s performance in Begin Again was noteworthy. I also like how on The Late Late Show he calls everybody out at the same time plus his tag line “And this is The Late Late Show.”  I used to blog “This is the Guru Jay” when I first started.

Now, Seth Meyers handles his business. Having Fred Armisen play in the band was a brilliant move.  Bobby Fischer couldn't make a bolder opening.

Seth Meyers uses satire like trash bags. He always throws away a joke. His Saturday Night Live days prepared him well.  I think he's a better interviewer than James Corden.

But I feel JC is the best comedian. That's saying a lot because I used to be more familiar with Seth.  And I love SNL like baseball. Who do I choose?

Entertainment-wise my first choice is James Corden. His show defines variety. He doesn't have an issue with doing it all. On the flip side, I feel Myers specializes in political humor. Guess who majored in political science?

Does Seth Meyers remind you of Alex Keaton/ Michael J. Fox from Family Ties? At the end of the day it's all about sense of humor. Both celebrities have sharp senses. Kinda cheesy?

Funny Girl Margaret Cho

Comedy pushes limits. That’s why Margaret Cho is your pusher woman. She represents her hometown San Francisco beautifully. What a beautiful city and woman. Let’s celebrate Cho because that’s what we do here.

Too many celebrities get chopped up and spit out for no reason. I prefer celebrities like Margaret because she speaks her mind freely. Should we start punishing people based on their life’s perspectives?

The Korean American comedian is very vocal about change and social issues. Some will take what she said and twist it in a knot. That’s wrong. Although there’s a price to fame, it shouldn’t cost everything.

You see Cho can be extreme like Russell Brand. As a standup comedian, her comedy compares with Amy Schumer. And the comedic actress plays great supporting parts too.

Picture Margaret Cho and Ken Jeong in a movie head-to-head. Margaret Cho gets recognized because she developed her talent. Who watched Cho on the View? Her and Whoopi have awesome chemistry. You can’t fake it.

Plus Margaret Cho’s brand is built to last. Can you believe she’s 47? Her face doesn’t look a day over 35. I admire celebrities that extend their time in showbiz.

Hollywood and entertainment are the most superficial businesses. You gotta constantly prove yourself in order to make it. The funny girl has done just that.

Whether through music, on TV, or in movies, Margaret Cho’s name rings your bell. Does she have poise and grace or what? Yet her filthy mouth barks attention. I would love to see her live in person.

Funny Girl is a 1968 musical film starring Barbra Streisand. Funny girl Margaret Cho creates throwback material by paying homage to Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor. She is a true comedian who breaks through glass ceilings.

What is more, we appreciate Margaret Cho for entertaining us and rocking the microphone for all these years.

Why George Lopez Is Champion

Who are your five favorite standup comedians? George Lopez makes my list because he is a distinguished gentleman like Eddie Murphy. It’s not always a bad thing when the gray hair starts showing. The best comedians are experienced on stage and in life too.

This doesn’t mean soldiers need to take a bullet or need to get fired at and take cover. Funny people get my drift. I’m a long time George Lopez fan.

You see there is a lesson in Lopez’s story. That’s why Lopez is a focal point in Elite Latino Comedians: Best in Show Biz. Remember elite isn’t a bad word but fuck is. All I am saying is there is nothing wrong with doing your best. This Hollywood star keeps shining especially in dark times.

That’s when you know you’re on top. The tabloids can write anything and it doesn’t faze you. George Lopez tells the truth. He takes risks. For instance, Spare Parts was a film that could have failed. Instead this movie showcased his skills as a dramatic actor much like Reign Over Me did for Adam Sandler.

What is more, the Latino, Asian, and African American communities respect Lopez for championing important causes. I highly recommend watching Spare Parts- a true story about a Latino high school beating MIT in an underwater robotics tournament. It is thought provoking.

Plus the movie is funny. How can you not laugh with George Lopez? If Steve Harvey is the #1 Answer, then George Lopez is Numero Uno.

The Mexican American actor has came a long way to make it big. He got here by staying focused. So the moral of the story is to don’t lose focus and keep trying. George got knocked down on the ground, but he got back up. And that’s what champions do.

15 Minutes of Adam Sandler

Great comedians like Adam Sandler make not so great movies sometimes. The tradeoff is that Adam Sandler makes really great movies here and there. No one doubts his funniness. Watch 15 minutes of Adam Sandler when having a hard time laughing.

The remedy for boredom is comedy. Adam Sandler could be your CVS pharmacist. He dispenses his jokes like medicine.

What is more, few comedians make great actors. Tell me what beats Adam Sandler in rare form. Reign Over Me remains one of my favorite movies because it showcases all of the comedic actor’s gifts.

Are you looking forward to the Do-Over? This Netflix original starring Sandler and David Spade is about two friends faking their deaths and taking on new identities. Watch the 3 minute trailer and try not to crack a smile.

Showbiz can be tough, especially being funny in the business. Sometimes the joke is on you. What do you do when your world caves in and the chips are stacked against you?

Adam Sandler received a lot of heat for Ridiculous Six. How did he respond? In life, you must be smart about your reactions. Everyone won’t see it your way.

Adam Sandler serves as a perfect example of how to handle criticism. Check out who’s better Adam Sandler Vs. Jerry Seinfeld.

Nowadays Hollywood wields great power. Celebrities must be careful because the media will go after them for one wrong move. The margin of error is slim.

Sandler put on an awesome performance in Pixels. Adam plus Kevin James is a winning combination. You see Sandler scores touchdowns, when most just get extra points. Who remembers the Longest Yard and the Waterboy?

Adam also can score a hole in one like Happy Gilmore. Most people want 15 minutes of fame. I want 15 minutes of Adam Sandler.

Who’s Funnier Than Zach Galifianakis and Steve Carell?

Check out Between Two Ferns. You see as a pair Zach Galifianakis and Steve Carell could take over the comedy world. 10 years from now you’ll play that clip and still laugh from your gut. That’s the best kind of laughter.

Zach Galifianakis and Steve Carell answer the question: what’s so funny? Zach has mastered the art of self-deprecation. And Steve Carell’s persona epitomizes a narcissist. That’s why together they are 1 dangerous force.

Can you picture a comedy tour with these comedians? Zach Galifianakis drums up funny beats for a living. Who’s funnier than him?

Maybe, Steve Carell can make you laugh a little more. Both brands command attention. You see comedy and marketing go hand and hand.

I feel that Carell is the best actor between the two ferns. However, Galifianakis is a funnier comedian. You’ll sure have a ball watching them go to town. For what it’s worth, Steve Carell made the Office. And Zach Galifianakis made the Hangover.

Zach’s standup experience prepares him perfectly for movies. Although he isn’t the best, he is a good actor. Galifianakis delivers a great performance in Birdman. Also, in Are You Here, he and Owen Wilson demonstrate their entertainment value.

Hollywood stars are jealous of Zach and Steve because their names draw enormous crowds. For the record, Evan Almighty should be recognized as a classic, despite Jim Carrey not reprising his role. Plus Hangover Part III was unfairly criticized. Remember that the original tends to be better than sequels.

I think Ricky Gervais is proud of Steve Carell in Office. And I believe Will Ferrellappreciates Zach’s offerings to Funny or Die. I don’t like Dan In Real Life but Bored to Death is excellent work. Also, 40 Year-Old Virgin is one of the funniest movies ever. In a nutshell, who’s funnier than Zach Galifianakis and Steve Carell?
